LIFEGUARD

Coral Reef Waterworld, Bracknell

Full time - 40 hours per week - circa £18,500pa

Here at Coral Reef Waterworld, an Everyone Active Centre, we're looking for new full time lifeguards to join our team.

Coral Reef Waterworld is Bracknell's unique indoor waterpark and in 2017 reopened after undergoing a major £13 million refurbishment project which has resulted in five new thrilling state-of-the art interactive giant water flume rides being installed and other enhancements.

This is an exciting place to work and an opportunity for any candidate who has a drive and commitment to develop a career in the leisure industry.

Your day to day lifeguard duties will consist of working to ensure the full operations of Coral Reef and maintaining all of the required set standards. You will be trained to safely operate the pool and giant waterslides as part of a team and ensure the safety of the public. Competence training is completed monthly to ensure all pool safety standards are kept up to date. This position is available working 40 hours per week on a shift basis, which will include daytime, evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays.

But why everyone active?

Well, apart from the impressive salary rates, you'll also be able to enjoy our pools and gyms absolutely free, while we pride ourselves in providing our colleagues with a friendly, award-winning and comfortable environment in which to work.

As well as the above, to succeed in this role, you'll also need to be comfortable helping customers with issues away from life guarding, have a positive outlook on life and be able to communicate well with other members of your team.

What we are looking for:

  • Swimming ability required
    • National Pools Lifeguarding Qualification
    • (We will provide Free NPLQ qualification/training to the right candidate).
  • Team player with a willingness to learn
  • High level of customer service
