Public Health Information Analyst: 12 month Fixed-term with the possibility of further extension

Public Health Services for Berkshire are recruiting a highly motivated and skilled Public Health Information Analyst with responsibility for gathering, analysing and presenting information from a variety of sources including the development and creation of maps for the team. The Public Health Information Analyst will have advanced excel skills and will ensure internal processes and training materials are appropriate and up to date.

The Public Health Information Analyst will lead on the administration and maintenance of a cross-Berkshire file sharing system and will be involved in the maintenance of the new public-facing Public Health Berkshire website.  They will have a keen attention to detail and a strong sense of the importance of data quality and will also have a sound understanding of information governance within a Local Authority environment.

The Public Health Information Analyst will be a strong team player, who can work responsively, proactively, and flexibly and with a high level of attention to detail. They will also have excellent all-round communication, numeracy and organisational awareness skills and thrive in a busy and demanding environment.

This is a part time post within a supportive public health intelligence team, the post holder would deliver the requirements set out in the job with the description in conjunction with another employee in proportion with the relative number of working hours. The pattern of working hours is negotiable.
