We are looking for flexible and creative full or part-time One-to-One/Home Tutors for immediate start to work on a sessional basis, who have an understanding of the needs of pupils with special educational needs - including social, emotional and mental health needs, medical needs, and disaffected youngsters.
The Home Tutor’s role is to provide bespoke education programmes to pupils who by reason of illness, exclusion or any other reason are being educated out of school and require alternative education provision during school hours (between 9.30am and 3.00pm).
Our pupils are taught in a variety of locations within the borough, including College Hall, Coopers Hill Youth and Community Centre, Bracknell Open Learning Centre and their own homes.
Pupils are of both primary and secondary age (between the ages of five and sixteen years) and are taught on a part-time basis, usually one-to-one or occasionally in small groups.
