This is a particularly exciting time for Brakenhale School. Last week we had an incredible Ofsted inspection (the results of which we cannot publish until the official report is released). Inspectors highlighted the very high standards of student behaviour, staff professional development and overriding positive culture that permeated the school. There could not be a more exciting time to join our fantastic school. We have worked hard to create a dynamic learning environment across the last 4 years and as a result Brakenhale School is a rapidly growing 11-19 secondary school with a strong commitment to high standards for students and staff. We are a friendly school, with a firm commitment to providing a range of opportunities for our staff and a passionate belief that every student in our school matters. We have had over 500 preferences for 210 places in Year 7 for September 2019 with our Year 7. Brakenhale School is a truly comprehensive school that is regarded by our local community as their secondary school of choice. Our recent examination results have improved again this academic year, which is shown clearly by our A Level and BTEC results, which are the best in the local area.
Brakenhale School is an Academy that is part of the successful Greenshaw Learning Trust, and this move has only continued to support the rapid progression of the school.
