Bracknell Forest Fostering finds caring homes for local children and young people who can’t live with their own family (looked after children). We are seeking a number of new foster carers/families to join our team providing regular care for children of all ages from one weekend a month upwards.

To be successful you’ll need to be a caring and patient person, be committed to developing as a carer and have time to devote to a child. Moreover you’ll need a flexible approach and a good sense of humour!

Allowances: From £12,720 to £19,200 per year, per child fostered (additional payments available dependent on skills and for the care of a child with a disability, based on a child in placement 52 weeks of the year). Allowances are usually tax-free.

We are seeking a number of new foster carers/families to join our team providing regular care for local children of all ages from one weekend a month upwards.

To be successful you’ll need to be a caring, empathetic and patient person, be committed to developing as a carer and have time to devote to a child. Moreover you’ll need a flexible approach and a good sense of humour!

In addition you must:

  • be at least 21 years of age (there is no upper age limit)
  • live within a commutable distance of Bracknell
  • have some experience of caring for or working with children (you don’t have to have your own children)
  • have a spare bedroom (unfortunately we cannot support with finding larger accommodation)
  • be in good general health
  • have good spoken and written English language
