Our Regeneration and Economic development service lead the Council’s ambitions to make Bracknell borough, the place to live and work. We thrive on initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges. Building strong relationships with public and private sector organisations is critical. The key to our team is taking responsibility. 

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training…

Support and deliver Economic Development projects and initiatives for Bracknell Forest Council. To develop and implement coordinated programmes of engagement and support for smaller businesses areas and retail centres. Support the attraction and retention of businesses and Jobs to and within Bracknell Forest. Contribute directly to the multi-disciplinary teams to help develop and sustain economic prosperity and growth in Bracknell Forest. Promote and market Bracknell as a potential site for new businesses in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners. Assist the Regeneration & Economic Development Manager to identify and eliminate barriers to business prosperity in the Bracknell Forest area and ensure key companies and growth companies are supported and prosper.

Proven ability to prioritise within a complex and demanding workload. Experience of working in partnership with external stakeholders and developing strong working relationships. Political awareness. Ability to engage with people from different sectors and professional backgrounds. Proven ability to devise creative or innovative solutions to problems.
