Bracknell Youth Offending Team is always looking for new and better ways of doing things. How can we make the most of our data to develop and improve the support we offer to young people, to prevent them from offending and have better life chances? What resources and interventions do we need to tackle the latest crime trends amongst young people in our local community? Extracting and analysing data will be an important part of this post. You’re going to have a big impact on what we do, so you’ll be trusted to use your initiative and take ownership of your role.

What it’s like working in our team…
You will be working in a Team that is passionate about supporting young people in a constantly changing and sometimes challenging environment where no day is the same. Ideally you will have had some experience of working with young people as you may be the first point of contact for service users.
You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training…
Provide day to day administration support to the Team and the YOT Management Team and information and performance data for the Youth Justice Board, Stakeholders and Managers. Following appropriate training you will be the responsible administrator for systems used by Youth Justice Services and be able to provide support with these systems for local users. You will also be responsible for the day to day management of the YOT Building, including health and safety and managing any contractors on site.

What we’re looking for…
The Administrative and IT Support will become an integral part of the team. You will have excellent IT Skills and demonstrate a high standard of both written and verbal communication. The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in Youth Justice and be motivated to contribute to service development by interrogating and analysing data effectively.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this position.
