Birch Hill School

The children, staff and governors are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking team. Candidates must have experience of supporting children in school. This role will involve supporting children who are in upper KS2 who have ASD or ADHD, working with them in class or 1:1. Experience of working with children with similar needs is desirable.  The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and have a sense of humour. Duties include supporting children in class and in small groups, doing a daily lunch duty and class administration tasks as required.

Hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break working term time plus 3 Inset days. 

The school is a two form entry primary with a Nursery. The school is well resourced and has extensive outside space. There are currently 400 children on roll.

Birch Hill Primary has just been judged Good in our Ofsted report (October 2019).
