This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join and contribute to the success of a committed and enthusiastic SEN department.

We are looking for a well-organised, self-confident individual with good communication skills. The successful candidates should be enthusiastic and committed to working with young people.  

The role will include but not limited to:

  • In-classroom support for students with Special Educational Needs
  • Support teachers within the classroom
  • Contribute to invention strategies
  • Accompany students on school visits
  • Support students with transition into secondary school
  • Other administrative tasks as required

Training and support will be provided by the SENCO and the existing team of friendly and mutually supportive colleagues.

However, your referees may include someone you know with standing in the community i.e. a teacher, vicar etc. We take up references for all shortlisted candidates and wherever possible we like to apply for these prior to interview.
