I am looking to recruit a Desktop Team Leader in our diverse IT department for either a 12-month fixed term contract or internal secondment opportunity.
This role is responsible for the delivery of 2nd line IT support services across the Council and delivery of key projects. We are currently upgrading to Office 365 so skills including Windows 10, Office 2016, InTune and Teams would be welcome.
This role has three direct reports and reports to the IT Enabling Hub Manager within the IT Services department.
The individual needs to be highly motivated to deliver in a fast pace and changing environment which consists of rollout programmes of mobile equipment and are currently upgrading to Office365 so Windows 10, Office 2016, Teams and other new solutions so is a very exciting time with opportunities to develop.
The post holder needs to have excellent organisation skills managing the diverse workload of a busy team to support the delivery of agile working across the Council whilst maintain high quality, robust support for its customers. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with diplomacy, influencing skills and a thorough appreciation and understanding of the technology used by our customers.
