Administration Assistant - Foster Carer Wellbeing Programme (FTC 18 months)

About you...
As an Administration Assistant, you will be at the heart of this pioneering regional wellbeing programme, providing essential administrative support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You will be a reliable and proactive administrator with strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
You will maintain accurate records, support day-to-day coordination and work closely with colleagues, foster carers and partner organisations.
About the team...
You will join a collaborative regional team dedicated to improving outcomes for children and foster families. Working with the Senior Project Officer and Business Support Officer, you will support wellbeing, learning and engagement activity for foster carers.
We offer flexible hybrid working, professional development opportunities and the chance to build valuable administration, programme coordination, communications and stakeholder engagement experience within a supportive regional team.
You will gain broad exposure to multi-agency partnership working while helping deliver practical activities, events and resources that support foster carers and families across the South East in a developing and ambitious regional programme team, while learning how effective systems, accurate information and responsive support contribute directly to successful regional delivery.
Key responsibilities...
You will:
- provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the regional Foster Carer Wellbeing Programme.
- organise meetings, workshops and events, preparing agendas, papers, bookings, materials and participant communications.
- maintain accurate records, filing systems, trackers and action logs, supporting programme monitoring and reporting.
- prepare correspondence, presentations, newsletters, social posts, promotional materials and programme merchandise.
- respond professionally to enquiries from foster carers, partners and stakeholders.
