We have a great opportunity for a Sunday Sales Advisor on a part time, permanent basis. 

About you…

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to play a key role in maintaining the high standards and day‑to‑day smooth running of our gift shop and reception area.

In this customer‑facing role, you will regularly interact with children and families, helping to ensure every visitor enjoys a warm welcome from start to finish.

You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and confident in engaging with customers of all ages and backgrounds to provide the best possible experience.

About the team…

The Look Out Discovery Centre is a popular visitor attraction featuring a hands‑on science and discovery exhibition, gift shop, coffee shop and play area, all set within 1,000 hectares of beautiful Crown Estate woodlands.

Open seven days a week, The Look Out welcomes a wide range of visitors throughout the year. Our aim is to ensure every visitor enjoys a safe, relaxing and enjoyable visit at all times.  You will play a key role in helping us achieve this.

Key responsibilities…

  • To be responsible for selling and displaying stock, serving and demonstrating goods to our customers, using the till and cashing up.
  • To ensure a high standard of cleanliness within the gift shop and reception and promote a quality service to the public.
  • To promote an excellent image of the centre and its staff at all times.
  • To work effectively as a member of a team.
  • To have an understanding of other job roles within the centre and to be able to provide cover if/when required.
