Support Worker - Promise Inclusion

2.5 hours per week - £9 - £11.44 per hour (depending on age)
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others? Look no further! Our @ The Acorn social group is seeking a dedicated support worker to join our amazing team. If you have a heart for helping others and want to be part of a welcoming community, we want to hear from you!
You will help support and organise fun activities and make sure everyone is included - your role will make a difference.
The social group works with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Typical activities include arts and crafts, putting, Boccia, games nights, cake decorating, picture or music bingo, table tennis, bongos and so much more. External groups also visit the club such as the OBJ Morris Troupe, yoga teachers and hand bell ringers.
The club runs on a Tuesday evening at The Acorn Centre, Woosehill, Wokingham 7pm – 9pm. You will assist the Co-ordinator in setting up and running activities and attend training as required.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated people to join our team. Experience of working in similar positions is desirable, but training will be given for the successful applicant. Our office base is now in Wokingham.
References, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and a Right to Work check will be carried out on the successful candidates.
