We have an exciting opportunity within the Learning and Development (L&D) team for you to study the Business & Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship whilst providing admin support to our Learning & Development Team.

Learning & Development focuses on developing knowledge and skills of the council’s most valuable asset: its employees.

Our Learning & Development professionals perform a range of tasks including, training delivery, providing and building e-learning opportunities, organise workshops, manage the booking and recording systems and commissions bespoke training when required.

What it's like working in our team...

Reporting to the Head of  Learning & Development, this role offers the appointee the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of initiatives, adding value and support to our established L&D team.

This is a fixed term role for 24 months, during which you will undertake an 18 month Business and Administration apprenticeship.

Due to the nature of the role you will be required to be office based (Time Square) 3 days a week.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training...

An apprenticeship in Business and Administration covers topics such as understanding how an organisation works, engaging with stakeholders, project management, analysing data and effective document and record production.

The Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship will take 18 months to complete, and you will study for the qualification with our apprentice provider, Ixion.

Whilst studying for your apprenticeship you will be supported by a workforce coach for the duration of the course.  At the end of your apprenticeship we will work with you to see if we can identify and secure a permanent position for you in Bracknell Forest Council. 

We understand that that this may be your first job in an office and there will be people a variety of people who will be available to support you.  These will include your team manager, your colleagues and the workplace coach who will support your learning throughout your apprenticeship.

What we're looking for...

We are in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about learning and eager to kick-start their career.

You will need to be highly organised and able to manage various administrative tasks, follow up on queries and with the technical ability to support and develop our e-learning and training recording systems.

As a Business & Administration Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various aspects of Learning & Development while receiving mentorship and training. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience and the chance to develop essential skills crucial for your future success
