Could you be our Receptionist for one of our primary schools?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to manage the smooth running of the Reception area and to provide administrative support.
You will need to have a good telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of children, parents, visitors and outside agencies.
You will need excellent IT and interpersonal skills. Previous school office experience using SIMS would be an advantage but not essential.
Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of King’s Academy Binfield and King’s Academy Oakwood.
KAB opened in a superb building in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 students. KAB primary phase and KAO both opened in September 2019. As of September 2021, KAB will have Year N, Year R, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 7 through to Year 10 and KAO will have Year R, through to Year 4. Both academies are run cohesively sharing the same leadership, staff, values, curriculum, opportunities and expectations of excellence.
The post is for 37 hours per week (term time only). Hours of work will be 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work additional days during the holidays may be required.
