Do you have Project Management experience and knowledge of working with multiple partners to achieve effective solutions in a rapidly changing environment?

An effective contact tracing and self-isolation support service is paramount to the success of our continual efforts to minimise Covid 19 transmission within the borough.

Government initiatives are continually evolving and therefore we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced, ever changing environment and who is committed to playing their part in the fight against Covid 19 within Bracknell Forest.

 Because we’re Bracknell Forest

What it’s like working in our team…

Bracknell Forest’s Covid response is a small team responsible for working alongside public health colleagues, multiple stakeholders from within the authority and other health partners to deliver an effective Covid response programme in a rapidly changing fast paced environment.   It is a supportive team environment where we all share the common goal of minimising transmission rates within the borough and providing an effective local outbreak management response

The team supports the effective management and delivery of all Covid related activity, including outbreak management, PPE provision and local contact tracing.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training…

Working within the Covid response team, you will project manage and lead on our contact tracing and self-isolation provision, including providing daily direction to a small team of trained local contact tracers.

This role will give the opportunity to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and facilitate service design in order to support the authority in reducing infection within the Borough.

You will be supported throughout by the Covid Response programme manager and will be expected to work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that all work remains aligned with the rest of our Covid response.

The benefits you will experience are…

  •  An inclusive working environment.
  • Flexible working opportunities including a flexi-time scheme.
  • Benefits associated with homeworking
  • Excellent experience in project management within a rapidly changing environment
  • Opportunity to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of Bracknell residents

What we’re looking for…

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with experience of managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders, to co-ordinate the effective and efficient delivery of a contact tracing and self-isolation service.  This will also include facilitating a local response to a national system switchover scheduled for August 2021.

If you are creative, able to react positively to working in a rapidly changing environment, have excellent planning, organisational and communications skills with a mind for problem solving and want a role where you can make an impact, then this is the role and we look forward to hearing from you.
